Okta launched general availability of "Okta for AI Agents," a governance platform letting enterprises discover, monitor, and kill-switch AI agents across Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google, and AWS. The product addresses agent inventory management and token revocation when agents go rogue. Dell CTO John Roese used the stage to push back on the "agent as black box API feature" model, arguing agents are software systems with composable architecture, MCP tool interfaces, and A2A inter-agent protocols — and that vendors treating them otherwise are being deprecated from his ecosystem.
