KDE released version 26.04 of its desktop environment suite, marking the project's 30th anniversary. The release includes redesigned calendar applications (Merkuro Calendar with new schedule view; KOrganizer with UI refinements), enhanced file management in Dolphin with customizable keyboard shortcuts, and updates to email/contacts tools. Updates span both long-established projects (Okular 21 years, KOrganizer 23 years, Kdenlive 24 years) and newer tools like NeoChat and Merkuro.
