Hungarian government creds left in the safe hands of 'FrankLampard'

Bellingcat discovered approximately 800 Hungarian government email and password pairs in public breach dumps, affecting credentials across defense, foreign affairs, finance, and other ministries. The compromised records include ~120 defense staff accounts, with origins tracing to a 2023 NATO eLearning platform breach and earlier 2021 incidents, plus ongoing exposure into 2026. Password quality was notably poor, with examples including "FrankLampard," "123456aA," and weak reused credentials.
