HP's remote desktop push retreats as Anyware heads for end of life

HP is discontinuing HP Anyware and its Trusted Zero Clients, effective May 7, 2026, with full end-of-life support ending October 31, 2029. The move abandons a strategy HP had reinforced only in 2022 when it rebranded Teradici's Cloud Access Software into Anyware as a core piece of its hybrid work offering. HP Z Remote Graphics Software will remain as an alternative for certain workstation use cases.
