Gmail: Bringing easy end-to-end encryption to all businesses

Google is expanding end-to-end encryption (E2EE) capabilities to all Gmail business customers through client-side encryption (CSE), allowing IT teams to control encryption keys and revoke email access retroactively. Organizations can require external recipients to use restricted Gmail to prevent data leaving corporate servers and apply security policies. The feature addresses regulatory requirements including HIPAA, data sovereignty, and export control compliance.
