Elevating Austria: Google invests in its first data center in the Alps.

Google announces its first data center in Kronstorf, Austria, creating 100 direct jobs and supporting growing cloud and AI service demand across Europe. The facility incorporates sustainability measures including off-site heat recovery, solar panels, and a partnership with the Upper Austrian Fisheries Association for Enns river water quality improvements. Google is also launching a workforce skilling initiative with the University of Applied Science Upper Austria.
