Databricks announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate GPT-5.5, OpenAI's frontier model for enterprise agentic work. GPT-5.5 shows 13% improvement over GPT-5.4 on document-heavy analytical tasks and 46% error reduction in full-agent workflows per Databricks' OfficeQA benchmark. The model powers Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, and is coming to Databricks' platform.
